NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A marine has been granted bail after being charged with crimes he says he didn’t commit.

Niquille Pinder was arrested on June 29 after police allegedly found him with 1.2 pounds of marijuana, a .45 pistol and nine rounds of .45mm ammunition.

Pinder denied firearm and ammunition possession charges as well as drug possession with intent to supply when he stood before Magistrate Lennox Coleby.

He was released on $7,500 bail. A trial date is set for September 23.
