U.S.A. – Jazz Chisholm Jr. makes Bahamian baseball history once again and was rewarded for an impressive season thus far with his second all-star selection.

The versatile New York Yankees star was officially named to the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game as a reserve infielder for the American League.

Chisholm’s previous All-Star appearance was in the national league with the Miami Marlins.

Through the first half, he’s posted a .245 batting average, with 15 home runs, 47 RBI, 18 stolen bases while maintaining an ops of .841.

He also leads the Yankees in multi-hit games and is hitting over .300 with runners in scoring position.

After suffering a right oblique strain that sidelined him from April 29 to early June, Chisholm rehabbed at double‑a somerset.

Since his return has been one of the most productive hitters in baseball.

Yankees Manager Aaron Boone credited Chisholm’s new “70 percent strategy” — trimming intensity to avoid injury and misfires. The bat speed went up, hard‑hit rates spiked, and the strikeout rate was lower.

Defensively, Chisholm has been a chameleon. He started the season at second base, shifted to third, and even saw time in the outfield.

The 2025 MLB All‑Star game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. First pitch is set for 8pm.
